Biography

Dr. David Kaufman is a leading Breast Cancer Surgeon in the New York area. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Nassau County Medical Society. He completed his surgical training at the New York Downtown Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering CancerCenter and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. Kaufman has received many honors over the years and he is the first ever recipient of the Physician of Distinction Award from the American Cancer Society. In addition, he has been listed in the guide to America’s Top Surgeons and as a New York Top Doc.

Dr. Kaufman is an advocate of “Hidden Scar” Surgery and has performed hundreds of Oncoplastic procedures. He has been a dedicated Breast Surgeon for over 20 years.
