Dr. Urban earned his Medical degree at Federal University of Parana in Curitiba (Brazil) in 1995. He specialized in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Our Lady of Grace Hospital in Curitiba (Brazil) (1996-1998). Additionally, he was a Fellow in Breast Surgery at Milan National Cancer Institute in Italy (1999), and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan (Italy) (2002-2003). In 1999, he completed a Post-Graduate program in Bioethics at Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome (Italy).

Dr. Urban is dedicated to Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast, Clinical Bioethics and Medical Education. He has authored six books in Breast Surgery and Clinical Bioethics, which have been published in Portuguese, English, and Italian. He is the author of more than 130 peer-reviewed papers and enjoys an international medical speaking career.
