Biography

Dr. Cary Kaufman, MD is an internationally renowned breast surgeon with over 42 years of surgical
expertise. He graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed his residency at UCLA and the University of Washington. Dr. Kaufman is a world leader and respected authority in the multidisciplinary approach and quality standards in the delivery of breast healthcare.

He has lectured extensively throughout the world and has worked on numerous research projects assessing new technologies. Dr. Kaufman has successfully presented and published numerous scientific papers, and continues to be interested in the development of new medical devices that have potential to improve patient care. He is past-president of the NCBC, has been on the board for many years for ASBS, served as chairman of the NAPBC, and has the distinction of having been named one of America’s Top Doctors every year since 2005.
